The Circle of Compassion is a worldwide group of people who pray daily or (if prayer has a negative connotation) hold a vision of hope in their hearts for humanity, the earth, and all animals. Each week I send a short message of encouragement, news, or idea to share. If you would like to receive these updates, simply go to the Circle of Compassion website and register to be on the email list. While there, you can also place your location on the world map to show everyone that our numbers are growing and indeed encircling the earth with love and compassion for all beings.

Welcome to the Prayer Circle for Animals Weekly Update
Our prayers for the animals continue to circle around the world to uplift humanity’s consciousness toward the animals of the world and to bless the animals themselves. Thank you for joining people around the world who are praying this prayer in many different languages but all with the same love:

Please forward this widely so that we may continue to add more people to our ever-expanding circle of compassion.The Season for Nonviolence begins on January 30 and ends on April 4. Created by Sunanda and Arun Gandhi, (Arun is the grandson of M.K Gandhi.), this annual observance commemorates the assasinations of M.K. Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. Recently Cesar Chavez has been included in the commemorations. The Season of Nonviolence is recognized by hundreds of communities and groups. Although many will speak and write beautifully of the need for nonviolence among people, few will include animals in their vision. Compassion Encircles the Earth for
All Beings Everywhere
We know that all our hearts are aching for the people and animals of Japan as they try to piece their lives back together. As with other tsunamis, some of the wild animals may have headed inland and to higher ground in plenty of time, but even they need our prayers because they will be in new territory and will have lost their nests, dens, and other homes. As for the domesticated farmed animals and companion animals who were trapped and the people themselves, they desperately need our prayers and any help we can give. If a prayer comes to your heart that you want to share, please send it and we will post it on the Prayer Circle for Animals website at http://www.circleofcompassion.org/. Here is a suggested prayer from us: Infinite, divine love and compassion and caring is now embracing each person and animal in Japan, bringing them comfort, guidance, and help. Our human hearts ache with prayers for each one of them, and so with each beat of our hearts, we send our love and hold a vision for them of healing, reunion, and faith.
